Bengaluru: The Bangalore Development Authority has reclaimed property worth around Rs 15 crore after clearing unauthorised constructions on its land in Mallathahalli.
The land is located in Survey No. 80 of Mallathahalli village in Yeshwanthpur Hobli. Officials removed illegal buildings constructed on the site and took back possession of about 12 guntas of BDA land during the operation.
The authority also advised the public to carefully verify property documents before purchasing land. Buyers should ensure that plots are purchased only in approved layouts, officials said.
The BDA stated that checking title documents, legal permissions and confirmation from the concerned authorities is necessary before buying any property.
The authority appealed to the public to cooperate in protecting BDA properties and supporting organised urban development in the city.
