Mangaluru: Air India Express has announced additional flight operations from Mangaluru International Airport to Sharjah and New Delhi for a limited period in view of the current geopolitical situation in the Middle East.
The airline will operate a daily flight between Mangaluru (IXE) and Sharjah (SHJ) from March 16 to March 28.
Flight IX 6057 will depart Mangaluru at 1.25 pm IST and arrive in Sharjah at 4.05 pm local time. The return flight, IX 6058, will leave Sharjah at 5.05 pm local time and reach Mangaluru at 10.30 pm IST.
The airline has also announced a temporary schedule for flights between Mangaluru and Delhi during the same period.
From March 16 to March 25, flight IX 1992 will depart Mangaluru at 9.30 am on Mondays, Wednesdays and Sundays and arrive in Delhi at 12.25 pm. The return flight IX 1991 will depart Delhi at 5.15 am on the same days and arrive in Mangaluru at 8.30 am.
For the remaining days of the week, flight IX 1276 will depart Mangaluru at 8.30 am and reach Delhi at 11.45 am. The return flight IX 1275 will leave Delhi at 5 am and arrive in Mangaluru at 8 am.
Airport officials said the revised schedule will be in effect only for the specified dates.
