The much-anticipated film, Dhurandhar 2, also known as Dhurandhar 2: The Revenge, has captured the attention of audiences nationwide. Fans are eager to see how Ranveer Singh, portraying Jaskirat Singh Rangi (Hamza Ali Mazari), will seek vengeance against the perpetrators of the 26/11 terror attacks. Following the success of the first installment, many actors were keen to join the sequel. However, Anil Kapoor turned down an offer for a cameo role from director Aditya Dhar, which has left many surprised. In a recent interview, the veteran actor admitted that passing on this opportunity was a significant loss for him.

In a conversation with a media outlet, Anil Kapoor shared that Aditya Dhar approached him for a brief appearance in Dhurandhar 2. Despite his interest, Kapoor had to decline due to prior commitments. He emphasized that professionalism and honoring his existing obligations were paramount. He expressed regret, stating, “It’s my loss, but it’s okay,” acknowledging the film's potential success.

Despite missing this opportunity, Anil Kapoor remains hopeful for future collaborations with Aditya Dhar. Recently, he appeared in Subedaar, which is currently available on Amazon Prime Video, alongside a talented cast including Radhika Madan and Saurabh Shukla.

Dhurandhar 2 is poised to set new box office records, with impressive advance ticket sales already reported. The film, directed by Aditya Dhar, has a runtime of 3 hours and 55 minutes and features a star-studded cast including Ranveer Singh, Sanjay Dutt, and R Madhavan. The first film in the franchise grossed over Rs 1350 crore globally, and expectations are high for the sequel, which is scheduled for a solo release on March 19, 2026, with paid previews on March 18.
