BFUHS Staff Nurse Recruitment 2026: Baba Farid University of Health Sciences (BFUHS) has issued a recruitment notification (Advertisement No. BFU-26/06) for 672 Staff Nurse positions under the Department of Health and Family Welfare, Punjab. Eligible nursing candidates may apply online through the University's website, bfuhs.ac.in, from March 13, 2026, to April 2, 2026.

Who Can Apply?
Candidates must have passed the Senior Secondary Part-2 examination (10+2) or its equivalent from a recognized university or institution.

Candidates must possess a GNM Diploma or a B.Sc. A nursing degree from a recognized university or institution. They must be registered as a Nurse and Midwife with the Punjab Nurses Registration Council (PNRC) in Chandigarh.

Candidates must have passed Punjabi as a subject at the Matriculation (10th) level (as per Punjab Government norms/BFUHS notification).

Nursing degrees or diplomas obtained through distance education (online/distance mode) will not be accepted. Candidates must be registered as a Nurse and Midwife with the Punjab Nurses Registration Council (PNRC) located in Chandigarh.

Age Limit: Candidates must be between 18 and 37 years of age. Candidates belonging to the Scheduled Castes (SC) and Backward Classes (BC) will be granted an age relaxation of 5 years.

What is the Application Fee?
The application fee for all categories, excluding Scheduled Castes, is ₹2,360, which comprises a basic fee of ₹2,000 and ₹360 towards 18% GST. For the Scheduled Caste (SC) category, the application fee is ₹1,180, consisting of a basic fee of ₹1,000 and ₹180 towards 18% GST. The application fee is non-refundable under any circumstances. After registration, open the online application form and accurately fill in all personal, educational, and other necessary details.

After filling out the form, pay the prescribed fee through an online mode.

Once all information has been correctly entered and the fee has been paid, submit the application form.
