Gudi Padwa Worship Rituals (Puja Vidhi)

On the morning of Gudi Padwa, pe take a ritual bath and wear new clothes.
A 'Gudi' is erected at the main entrance of the house.
The 'Gudi' consists of a bamboo staff wrapped in silk cloth, adorned with neem leaves, mango leaves, a garland, and an inverted copper *Kalash* (pot).
Beautiful Rangolis are created in the courtyard and at the main entrance of the house.
In Maharashtra, Puran Poli, Sabudana Kheer, Shrikhand, and Puri-Chana are offered as Prasad (sacred food offering).

Acts of charity and philanthropy are also performed on this day to ensure an auspicious beginning to the New Year.
