Authorities have issued externment orders against three individuals from Udupi district in connection with multiple criminal cases.
The order was issued on March 12, 2026, by the Special Executive Magistrate and the Superintendent of Police of Udupi district against Sandesh, Sushanth of the jurisdiction of Hiriyadka Police Station and Jabbar Hussain of the jurisdiction of Padubidri Police Station.
Police said Jabbar Hussain, a resident of Nadsalu village in Kapu taluk, has a rowdy sheet opened against him at Padubidri police station. He has been named in 16 criminal cases registered in Udupi, Chikkamagaluru, Uttara Kannada districts and Mangaluru.
Sandesh, a resident of Bommarabettu village in Udupi taluk, has five cases registered against him and a rowdy sheet opened at Hiriyadka police station.
Similarly, Sushanth of Papuje Darkhasu in Hiriyadka limits has three criminal cases registered against him.
As per the externment orders, Jabbar Hussain has been sent to the jurisdiction of Pension Mohalla Police Station in Hassan district, Sandesh to the jurisdiction of Thirthahalli Police Station in Shivamogga district, and Sushanth to the jurisdiction of Sringeri Police Station in Chikkamagaluru district.
Police said the externment orders were issued as a preventive measure to maintain law and order in the district.
