Prince Harry 'in a tough spot' as 'will have to face questions' over Andrew

Prince Harry has not made any public statements about his disgraced uncle, Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor but that could soon change, according to a PR expert. The Duke of Sussex will be heading to Australia next month alongside Meghan Markle, but could face a "predicament" if asked about the Epstein scandal while there.

PR expert and talent manager Dermot McNamara claimed Harry and Meghan are in a "very tricky spot" after Andrew's humiliations. He explained that even though the Duke has not been "implicated" in any way in the Epstein files, he is still "going to have to answer questions" about it.

The PR expert told the Mirror: "The whole world is speculating on his family in some of the most awful contexts regarding Epstein. Harry wasn't implicated but he's probably still going to have to answer questions about it all.

"Whilst he probably doesn't want to comment and be dragged into the Andrew-Epstein situation, he also doesn't want to be seen as not commenting, so he's in a very difficult position.

"He probably knows it would be absolutely reckless to say anything, so he's likely thinking the best thing to do is say nothing at all, while also letting his brother and father know that he is there, and they can support the family, but not to his own detriment."

Only the King and Queen, the Prince and Princess of Wales and the Duke of Edinburgh made comments regarding Andrew's humiliating association with Jeffrey Epstein.

Following his arrest last month, the King said in a statement: "I have learned with the deepest concern the news about Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor and suspicion of misconduct in public office.

"What now follows is the full, fair and proper process by which this issue is investigated in the appropriate manner and by the appropriate authorities. In this, as I have said before, they have our full and wholehearted support and co-operation.

"Let me state clearly: the law must take its course. As this process continues, it would not be right for me to comment further on this matter. Meanwhile, my family and I will continue in our duty and service to you all. Charles R."

Prince William and Princess Catherine also distanced themselves from Andrew, with their spokesperson saying that they are "deeply concerned by the continuing revelations" that have emerged in the Epstein files.

Prince Edward said that we should "remember the victims" when asked about Andrew during an engagement.

The former Duke of York, who has lost his titles, honours and home and now has the status of a commoner, was arrested last Thursday on suspicion of misconduct in public office during his time as the UK's trade envoy between 2001 - 2011.

He was held in custody for 11 hours before being released under investigation. The arrest came after the latest tranche of Jeffrey Epstein files revealed that he may have shared confidential information with the convicted sex offender. Andrew has always denied any wrongdoing.
