Tomato For Sun Tan Removal: The scorching sun and pollution have the worst effect on our skin. Often, when one goes out, the UV rays of the sun scorch the skin due to which the face appears dark and lifeless. We call this suntan. There are many expensive products and facials available in the market to remove tanning, but do you know that a small tomato kept in your kitchen is a panacea for this problem.
Why is tomato special for the skin?
Tomato is not only useful in enhancing taste but it is also an excellent natural bleaching agent for the skin. It contains abundant amounts of lycopene which is a powerful antioxidant. It not only repairs sun damage but also helps in clearing the skin complexion. Apart from this, Vitamin C and potassium present in tomatoes are helpful in tightening the open pores of the face and controlling excess oil.
remedy to remove tanning
If you want instant glow and effective tanning removal, then applying tomato juice mixed with sugar and honey is considered most effective.
Tomatoes and Sugar
Cut the tomatoes in half and sprinkle some sugar on it. Rub it gently on the face. Sugar works as an excellent exfoliator which removes dead skin cells while tomato juice penetrates deep into the skin and removes tanning.
Tomato and Honey
Mix one spoon honey in tomato pulp. Honey moisturizes the skin and balances the acidic effect of tomatoes. This pack not only removes tanning but also makes the face baby soft.
correct way to use
- First of all, wash your face with normal water and dry it.
- Massage the prepared mixture or tomato slices on the face and neck in circular motion for 5-7 minutes.
- After massage, let it dry for 10 to 15 minutes.
- Finally wash the face with cold water. Repeat this process 2 to 3 times a week for better results.
Although tomato is completely natural, if your skin is very sensitive then do a patch test before applying it on your face. To avoid tanning, do not forget to use sunscreen while going out and drink plenty of water so that your skin remains hydrated from within.
