Mobile Number Activation: It often happens that people fail to recharge their mobile numbers on time, leading to their SIM cards becoming deactivated after a certain period.
It often happens that people fail to recharge their mobile numbers on time, leading to their SIM cards becoming deactivated after a certain period. If a number remains inactive for a prolonged period, the telecom company may even reassign it to another customer. In such instances, complications can arise regarding bank accounts, documents, or online services linked to that specific number. However, there is now good news for such users.
If your mobile number belongs to Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) and has been deactivated due to a lack of recharge, it can now be reactivated. The company has introduced a specific plan for its customers that allows for the reactivation of dormant numbers while also providing an extended validity period.
Under this special offer from the company, users can reactivate their deactivated SIM cards by performing a recharge of approximately ₹449. This plan comes with a validity period of approximately 90 days, providing customers with the convenience of keeping their number active for an extended duration.
This plan also includes certain basic features related to calling and data services. Users are provided with the facility of unlimited voice calling. Additionally, the plan offers a total data allowance of approximately 5GB for the entire validity period, along with the facility to send 100 SMS per day. In essence, customers receive essential telecom services at an affordable price while ensuring that their original mobile number remains secure.
If a user's number has already been deactivated, performing a recharge is a prerequisite for reactivating it. To do so, customers can visit their nearest BSNL retailer or store to activate this specific plan.
Furthermore, there is also an option to perform the recharge digitally. The company offers this facility through its online platform, where users can easily select the plan and complete the payment process. In certain cases, the option to recharge via the company's chatbot link is also available, making the entire process even more convenient. According to the company, this facility is not permanent but is being offered for a limited time. Customers can avail of this offer until March 31, 2026. Therefore, this could be a great opportunity for those whose BSNL numbers have been disconnected or are about to be disconnected soon. By recharging in a timely manner, they can reactivate their old numbers and continue carrying out essential tasks associated with them without any hassle.
