P&G India HR Chief PM Srinivas exits; insider Robin Thadathil to take over

Procter & Gamble India has appointed Robin Thadathil as its new Chief Human Resources Officer. He takes over from PM Srinivas starting April 1. Thadathil brings over 16 years of experience within P&G, having worked in various roles across different markets. He expressed enthusiasm for contributing to P&G's growth in India.

New Delhi: Procter & Gamble India has appointed Robin Thadathil as its chief human resources officer (CHRO) with effect from April 1. He will succeed PM Srinivas, who will be leaving the company to pursue other interests, according to a statement by the consumer goods firm.

Thadathil has more than 16 years of work experience in P&G HR, having joined the US-headquartered firm in 2010 in Singapore. Since then, he has worked in various roles across commercial teams, manufacturing plant and country HR, as well as different markets including the US and Southeast Asia. He is an alumnus of Nanyang Technological University, Singapore and is currently the company’s HR leader for Malaysia, Singapore and Vietnam.


“This position presents a unique, unprecedented chance to collaborate with diverse stakeholders, translating our integrated growth strategy into reality,” Thadathil said, according to the statement.

“The current landscape is incredibly dynamic, and I am keen to contribute to P&G's growth journey in India, working hand-in-hand with our dedicated team – the very core of our organization – to positively impact people’s lives in small yet impactful ways, every single day.”

He also holds a master’s degree in international political economy from S. Rajaratnam School of International Studies, Singapore as well as a bachelor’s degree in computer engineering and business studies, according to the statement.
