Prayagraj: A woman who came into the spotlight during the 2025 Maha Kumbh in Prayagraj has reportedly married a man named Farman in Kerala, triggering concern among her family members.
The woman, identified as Monalisa Bhonsle, is said to have travelled to Kerala for acting training. However, her family recently came to know about the marriage through videos circulating on social media.
Her family, which lives in a temporary shelter near Maheshwar jail in Madhya Pradesh, said they were unaware of the development. Her mother, Lata Bhonsle, expressed distress and appealed for her daughter’s return.
Family members said that since learning about the marriage, the household has been in a state of shock. They also claimed that her mobile phones have been switched off and that they have not been able to contact her.
The mother alleged that her daughter may have been misled and said she has not been allowed to speak with the family in recent days. She urged that she be allowed to speak to her daughter at least once.
