Brooklyn Beckham has snubbed his parents, David and Victoria, once more as he paid tribute to one of the family's close friends. Sir Elton John hosted his annual Oscars viewing party on Sunday (March 15) to raise funds for the Elton John AIDS Foundation as the 27-year-old and his wife Nicola Peltz were in among those in attendance.

After the swanky event, Brookyln posted to Instagram with some snaps of him and his partner dressed to the nines. He captioned the pictures: "What a special night for a very important cause. Thank you so much @eltonjohn and @davidfurnish." He added six words that he is unlikely to have said to his own parents recently: "I love you both so much." Back in January, Brooklyn finally broke his silence on his family feud in a lengthy statement on Instagram.

He said: "I have been silent for years and made every effort to keep these matters private. Unfortunately, my parents and their team have continued to go to the press, leaving me with no choice but to speak for myself and tell the truth about only some of the lies that have been printed."

He added: "For my entire life, my parents have controlled narratives in the press about our family. The performative social media posts, family events and inauthentic relationships have been a fixture of the life I was born into.

"Recently, I have seen with my own eyes the lengths that they'll go through to place countless lies in the media, mostly at the expense of innocent people, to preserve their own facade. But I believe the truth always comes out."

On Sunday, Brooklyn painfully snubbed his mum, Victoria, once more. As Britain paid tribute to their loved ones on Mother's Day, the 27-year-old aspiring chef remained silent.

However, US-based Brooklyn still made time to honour another special woman in his life - his mother-in-law - in another stinging blow. The culinary influencer was present to mark former fashion model Claudia Heffner Peltz's 71st birthday alongside actress wife Nicola on Saturday evening, and wasted little time sharing a tribute on social media.

Taking to Instagram, Brooklyn, 27, posted a photograph of himself with Claudia and Nicola, mere hours before the arrival of Britain's Mothering Sunday. Captioning the post, he wrote: "Happy birthday to the best mother-in-law. Love u so much and hope u had the most amazing day."
