A royal insider has been left "flabbergasted" when she received a WhatsApp message from Meghan Markle's team expressing bombshell news.
Royal correspondent Emily Andrews has reported how she was told the Sussex Team was "breaking up" with Netflix over Meghan's As Ever brand, allegedly because she was being "held back" by the "cautious" streaming company.
According to Andrews, the reason offered by Netflix for allowing Meghan to "stand on her own," as she described the split, was even stranger. They are reported to have doubled down by stating they had "always intended" for Meghan to "continue independently."
Andrews' take on the matter: "The idea that Netflix would pull out of a runaway successful business feels.... Unlikely." She backs this up by pointing out the web glitch in January which revealed £16.3 million of unsold product including 220,000 jars of jam.
