The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the results of the written examination conducted for the combined Grade ‘B’ Section Officer and Stenographer posts. With the release of these results, both excitement and anticipation have surged among the candidates. When Was the Exam Held?

The written examination for these posts was conducted on December 13 and 14, 2025. Candidates had been eagerly awaiting the results ever since the examination concluded. With the release of the results, their wait has finally ended, and the next round of the selection process has officially begun.

What Happens Next?

Candidates who have successfully cleared the written examination are now eligible for the next stage (Part-II). In this stage, the service records of the candidates will be evaluated. This implies that merely securing good marks in the written examination will no longer suffice; the candidate’s entire service record will also be taken into consideration.

Selection Remains Provisional

The UPSC has clarified that, for the time being, the selection of all candidates remains provisional. This signifies that their eligibility will be subject to further verification during the subsequent stages of the selection process. If, at any stage, a candidate is found ineligible as per the rules, their candidature may be cancelled. Therefore, all candidates are advised to ensure that their documents and information are accurate.

When Will the Marksheet Be Released?

The Commission has also stated that candidates’ marksheets will be made available on the website within 15 days of the declaration of the final results. These marksheets will remain accessible on the website for approximately 30 days, allowing candidates to view and download them.

Selection Process

All categories will be taken into consideration during the final selection process. This includes providing opportunities to candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), and Persons with Disabilities, in accordance with the applicable rules.
