Three arrested for transporting illegal liquor in Hyderabad

Hyderabad: The prohibition and excise department sleuths arrested three people on Wednesday, March 18, and seized 34 bottles of non-duty alcohol (illegal liquor) during a routine check at Pahadishareef road.
The illegal liquor was being smuggled from Goa to Hyderabad by Jani, Giri and Rakesh, all from Nalgonda. They planned to sell at a higher cost to earn profits, officials said.
A case is booked at Meerpet Prohibition and Excise Station.
