World of Warcraft: Midnight Season 1 has officially launched, bringing intense new endgame content to the second chapter of The Worldsoul Saga. As the expansion focuses on the Void threatening Quel’Thalas and the elven kingdoms, Season 1 ramps up the challenge with fresh raids, Mythic+ dungeons, Delves, PvP seasons, and more.

Midnight Season 1 Release Date and Time

Midnight Season 1 officially began on March 17, 2026. Blizzard scheduled a 4-hour maintenance starting at 7:00 AM PDT (Pacific Time) on March 17, after which servers came online and Season 1 content unlocked.

  • Global release timing typically aligns with regional resets (often Tuesday mornings in NA/EU), following maintenance.
  • In your time zone (IST, India): This would correspond to around 7:30 PM IST on March 17 (accounting for the PDT start and standard offsets), but exact server uptime varied slightly by region.
  • Pre-season content (expansion launch, leveling to 90, Heroic/Mythic 0 dungeons, etc.) started earlier with the full Midnight expansion release on March 2, 2026 (at times like 6:00 PM EST / March 3 in some regions).

The staggered rollout gives players time to gear up before the heavy endgame hits.

Full Midnight Season 1 Content Schedule

Season 1 unfolds over several weeks with phased unlocks for raids, Mythic+, and more. Here’s the official Blizzard schedule:

  • Week of March 17 (Launch week):
    • Raids: The Voidspire (Normal, Heroic, Raid Finder Wing 1) in Voidstorm zone.
    • Dreamrift (Normal, Heroic, Raid Finder Wing 1) in Harandar.
    • Mythic+ dungeons and Delves become fully active (new rotation, affixes, and rewards).
    • PvP season starts with new arenas, battlegrounds, and rated rewards.
  • March 24:
    • Voidspire adds Mythic difficulty, Raid Finder Wing 2, and Story Mode.
    • Dreamrift adds Mythic.
    • Full Mythic+ season ramps up with leaderboards and keystone progression.
  • March 31:
    • Voidspire: Raid Finder Wing 3.
    • March on Quel’Danas raid unlocks (Normal, Heroic, Mythic) in Eversong Woods.
  • April 7 and beyond:
    • Additional wings and full access to March on Quel’Danas (including further difficulties).
    • Ongoing updates to world bosses, open-world activities, and seasonal events.

This phased approach helps prevent burnout and lets players progress naturally through the tiers.

Key Features in Midnight Season 1

Midnight Season 1 builds on the expansion’s core themes of Light vs. Void duality, rebuilt Silvermoon City as a hub, player housing (early access started late 2025), the new Haranir allied race, and a Demon Hunter Devourer specialization.

  • Raids — Three major raids: The Voidspire (Void-focused), Dreamrift (dream/nightmare themes), and March on Quel’Danas (epic siege in elven lands).
  • Mythic+ — New dungeon pool with updated mechanics; season starts March 17–24 for full competitive play.
  • Delves — 12 new scalable solo/small-group challenges with great rewards.
  • Tier Sets — Brand-new set bonuses and appearances tied to raids and activities.
  • Other activities — New world bosses, PvP season (aim for titles like Galactic Gladiator), open-world “Prey” system, and housing customization/endeavors.

The expansion emphasizes homecoming to Azeroth with player housing neighborhoods, decorations, and room layouts—now fully integrated post-launch.
