Soon, WhatsApp may bring a new ‘Noise Cancellation’ feature, which will significantly reduce background noise during voice and video calls. With the help of this technology, the surrounding sounds will automatically be reduced, so that the person in front will be able to hear your voice more clearly. Let us know the complete details-
What is this new ‘noise cancellation’ feature?
WhatsApp is developing a new feature designed to improve call quality. This feature will filter out unwanted background sounds during voice and video calls.
This feature will be especially helpful for people who often make calls in noisy places, such as busy roads, public transport or crowded offices. This feature is currently being tested in the beta version of the Android app.
How will this feature work?
The noise cancellation system will use advanced audio processing to recognize the user’s voice and reduce other surrounding sounds. Noises like traffic, wind or nearby conversations will be suppressed so that only the main voice can be heard clearly during the call.
This technology is very similar to that used in earphones with ANC (Active Noise Cancellation), but in this case, it will work directly through the phone’s microphone. The result will be that the person on the other end will be able to hear your voice clearly without any interruption or distraction.
