Watch: Jitesh Sharma Chases 40 Runs in 15 Balls in Gully Cricket Before IPL 2026

Royal Challengers Bengaluru wicketkeeper batter Jitesh Sharma is the latest IPL star who has gone viral due to a gully cricket video, just before the IPL 2026 edition.

Jitesh had a challenging task in the gully cricket. He was asked to score 40 runs in 15 balls. The 32-year-old made it look easier by hitting monstrous sixes with effortless power.

Jitesh began the innings very well as he struck three sixes and a boundary on the first six balls. That brought the required 18 runs in 9 balls. He miscued a few deliveries afterwards but held his nerves and smashed two more sixes in his 7th and 8th delivery, bringing the requirement down to just two runs off the final three balls. Jitesh finally got the job done in the very last delivery.

Key Player for RCB After IPL 2025 Heroics

Jitesh played a significant role in RCB winning the IPL 2025 title and finished matches brilliantly for the team. He was handed finisher role by the RCB management and he never failed to deliver in high pressure situations.

In the crucial league match against Lucknow Super Giants, he scored a remarkable 85 runs in just 33 balls and helped his team in chasing a massive 228 runs and finish at the second position on the points table.

The 32-year-old had a phenomenal strike rate of 176.35 in IPL 2025 which just proves how good his finishing was.

Despite all the success and performance in the previous season of IPL, Jitesh was unlucky to miss out on India's squad for the T20 World Cup 2026 as he was part of the Indian squad before the T20 World Cup but was dropped in favor of two wicketkeeper-batters who had strong numbers in the top-order.
