- Why buy Samsung S26 Ultra?
Samsung’s The new flagship, the Galaxy S26 Ultra, has already made its mark in the market and since then its privacy screen and AI features have become the talk of the town. However, the hefty price tag of ₹1,39,999 begs the question: is Samsung going to sell its S-series Ultra models solely on the strength of these attractive guises?
For the last 15 days, we have tried the S26 Ultra and in this article we are going to tell you exactly how this phone fares. If you are eager to buy this most expensive Samsung phone, then you must know more about it before buying
How useful is the S26 Ultra’s privacy screen?
Samsung Always known for its displays and this time, they have taken the tech world by storm by including privacy features in the S-Series Ultra model. While extremely useful, the S26 Ultra’s privacy features aren’t for those who prioritize display quality.
The S26 Ultra comes with a 6.9-inch QHD+ LTPO AMOLED display. The display is just as clear and smooth as its predecessors, except with the Privacy Display feature turned on. That is the main complaint about this feature. In fact, every time you turn on this feature, the brightness of the S26 Ultra’s display decreases.
Even without the privacy feature, the S26 Ultra’s display is of excellent quality. Whether watching content or gaming, the S26 Ultra’s display will keep you engrossed. However, it would have been better if the company had slightly increased the brightness of the screen compared to the previous model.
The familiar design of the S26 Ultra
In terms of design, the S26 Ultra has a new camera design, which I found significantly better than the lens protector camera design of the S25 Ultra. However, there were complaints that Samsung abandoned the premium titanium build quality and reverted to aluminum.
Apple did something similar with its iPhone 17 series Pro models, but cited a unibody design and improved heat management. Furthermore, the design of the S26 Ultra is largely similar to the S25 Ultra, and this shouldn’t be a problem.
Don’t wait because from March 20th…; The market will shake! Samsung has brought ‘this’ amazing smartphone
Performance and software of the S26 Ultra
The S26 Ultra should be bought for its performance and great software, not its privacy display. In the Android world, those who want a stable phone like Apple’s iPhones can opt for the S26 Ultra. The S26 Ultra comes with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, supported by LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 storage.
Along with these features, One UI 8.5 based on Android 16 is an additional feature. In my opinion, this is the best software available for Android smartphones and its AI features make it even better.
Camera performance of the S26 Ultra
The S26 Ultra’s camera performance is slightly better than its predecessor, but not overwhelming. Thanks to the aperture upgrade, this phone takes slightly brighter photos than the S25 Ultra. This also results in more detail in photos taken by the S26 Ultra in the dark. However, after testing camera flagships from Vivo and Oppo, the S26 Ultra’s photos can only be described as good, not the best. I hope next year will see major changes in Samsung’s flagship series.
In terms of videography, one would definitely appreciate the ‘Horizon Lock’ feature of the Samsung S26 Ultra, which provides next-level stabilization in the video output.
Battery performance of the S26 Ultra
Although the S26 Ultra has a 5000mAh battery, 60W charging makes up for the shortfall. In my test, the phone charged to 70% in just 27 minutes, according to the company’s claim. It took about 55 minutes to fully charge. I’m not sure I had to arrange a charger and cable that supports Samsung’s Supercharge 3.0. Because the cable provided in the box does not support Supercharge 3.0. The S26 Ultra also performed well in terms of battery backup. In our testing, the phone’s battery lasted about a day and a half with normal usage and 11 hours of screen-on time.
The market will shake! Samsung’s ‘these’ two products became available everywhere; As many as 70 percent of customers…
Review about S26 Ultra
The S26 should be bought as a stable and great Android device, not for features like Ultra Privacy Display. Although Chinese brands have recently taken the lead when it comes to camera performance, Samsung is still a viable option. If you’re looking for an iPhone-level device experience in the Android world, the S26 Ultra is an option worth considering. We give the Samsung S26 Ultra 4 out of 5 stars.
