Lucknow, 19 March. Taking action against illegal construction, Lucknow Development Authority (LDA) got a bulldozer started on the illegal Mod Galaxy City located in Bijnor. During the day-long operation, nine row-house buildings constructed over an area of approximately 9,500 square feet were demolished. 19 illegal row-house buildings in Gudamba and 3 illegal commercial constructions in Thakurganj were sealed. Ravi Nandan Singh, zonal officer of Enforcement Zone-2, said that row-house buildings were being constructed illegally by builder Mohammad Imran while developing Mod Galaxy City in Aurangabad Khalsa of Bijnor police station area.
Demolition orders were passed by the court against these 9 row-house buildings being constructed on an area of approximately 9,500 square feet without getting the map approved from the LDA, in compliance with which the enforcement team took demolition action at the site on Wednesday. During the day-long action, illegal structures of 9 row-house buildings were demolished.
Madhavesh Kumar, zonal officer of Enforcement Zone-7, said that action was taken by running a campaign against illegal construction on Jal Nigam Road in Thakurganj. He told that commercial buildings were being constructed illegally on plots of area of 150 square meters by Syed Sibte Mohammad, 200 square meters by Chandra Prakash Awasthi and about 250 square meters by Jagdev Singh. All three illegal constructions were sealed.
Zonal Officer of Enforcement Zone-5, Vandana Pandey said that 10 row-house buildings in an area of about 500 square meters were being constructed by Siddharth, AM Ansari, Mohammad Zoeb and others on Kanchana Bihari Road in Gudamba. Similarly, 4 row-house buildings were being constructed by Jitendra Jumnani on a plot of area of about 400 square meters and 5 row-house buildings were being constructed by builder Altab on an area of 300 square meters. These 19 row-house buildings, which were being constructed illegally without getting the maps approved from LDA, were sealed.
