New Delhi . Ranveer Singh’s film Dhurandhar: The Revenge has been released and after the success of the first part, the hype about this film was tremendous. The audience showed their loyalty by booking in advance but were also disappointed with the cancellation of preview shows in some cities. For those who came to watch the film, it was an enjoyable but not entirely satisfactory experience.

Story
The story of the film is divided into six chapters. In the beginning, the background of Jaskirat Singh Rangi Ranveer Singh and his family is shown. Father was also a soldier and Jaskirat was also about to join the army but to protect the family he has to pick up the gun. While fighting his own battle, Jaskirat becomes an agent for the country and works as Hamza Ali Mazari in Pakistan.

The story of the first part ended with the death of Rehman dacoit Akshay Khanna. In this part, Jaskirat Hamza moves forward in his mission by putting his brother Uzair Danish Pandor in power. Major Iqbal Arjun Rampal introduces him to his elder brother and the story moves forward.

acting

Ranveer Singh dominates the screen for the entire four hours. His action emotion and angry scenes are perfect. Arjun Rampal has got more screen space but not that much depth in his character. Sanjay Dutt and Sara Arjun’s scenes are limited while Madhavan and Rakesh Bedi add life to the film in between.

instruction

Aditya Dhar’s research and detailed work is praiseworthy. He has added the connection of demonetization Atiq Ahmed and Dawood Ibrahim in the story. But compared to the first part, this time there are less surprise elements in the story and many scenes seem to be drawn out for a long time. The beginning and climax are strong but the middle part feels a bit slow and predictable.

music

The music this time is not as impressive as the first part. Barring one or two songs, the rest are not memorable and the romantic songs seem a bit forced.

see or not

If you have seen the first part then definitely watch this. Don’t be influenced by hype or celebs’ reviews. The film provides decent entertainment but keep your expectations low for exciting surprises and a strong story like the first part.
