Desk: Microsoft’s recent Windows 11 update has created new problems for millions of users. Due to this bug in 24H2 and 25H2 versions, it has become difficult to login with Microsoft account. Users are seeing fake No Internet error in apps like OneDrive, Office and Teams, even though the internet is working properly. The company has admitted its flaw and has said that it will release a fix soon.

Due to this bug, users are repeatedly seeing the message that the device is not connected to the internet. Whereas in reality the internet is fully functioning. This problem is especially visible in apps like OneDrive, Microsoft Office and Microsoft Teams. Due to this, users are not able to login to their accounts and their work is getting affected.

This problem is especially affecting those users who use the service with Microsoft account. This includes tools like Word, Excel, OneDrive and Microsoft 365 Copilot. However, enterprise users who use Microsoft Entra ID are not affected by this bug. This means that common users and those with free services are facing more problems.

According to Microsoft, this problem is occurring due to a specific network state. Sometimes it gets cured on its own, but this is not always the case. The company has currently suggested restarting the device while the internet is on, which may fix the problem for some time. However, if restarted without internet then this problem may reappear.

Microsoft has said that it is working to bring a permanent solution to this problem soon and an update will be released in the coming days. According to reports, this could be an out-of-band update. Even before this year, many problems have come to light in Windows updates, such as problems to remote desktop login and cloud files. In such a situation, this year is proving to be challenging for the users in terms of updates.
