Bengaluru FC is gearing up to return to Kolkata as they take on ISL newcomers Inter Kashi at the Kishore Bharati Krirangan this Sunday. The Blues are coming off a hard-fought 0-0 draw against Mohun Bagan Super Giant at their home ground, while Inter Kashi aims to turn their fortunes around after suffering two straight losses to Mumbai City FC and Jamshedpur FC.

Recent Performances of Both Teams

Bengaluru FC, under the guidance of Renedy Singh, managed to halt Mohun Bagan's four-match winning streak last week, showcasing remarkable determination in front of their supporters. In contrast, Inter Kashi faced a setback against Mumbai City FC, losing 2-1 after a goal from Lalrinzuala Chhangte early in the second half.

Coach's Corner: Renedy Singh's Expectations

"I anticipate a strong challenge from them tomorrow, as they have shown resilience against both FC Goa and Mumbai City FC. However, we have trained thoroughly and are prepared for the match," stated Renedy Singh.

Inter Kashi's Standings and Coaching Challenge

Antonio Lopez Habas, a seasoned coach in the Indian Super League, previously led teams to victory in 2014 and 2019 with ATK and ATK Mohun Bagan. Currently, Inter Kashi is positioned eighth with five points from five matches and aims to narrow the gap with Bengaluru FC, who sit sixth with eight points. Notably, Habas will be absent from the sidelines due to a red card received in the match against Mumbai City, which could impact the team's performance.

"I have been training diligently for all upcoming matches. The next game will undoubtedly be challenging, but I am prepared to step up and contribute to the team whenever the coach calls on me," remarked defender Ricky Meetei regarding his readiness for the upcoming fixtures.
