IPL 2026: The Board of Control for Cricket in India has intensified its strategy for the 2027 ODI World Cup. During IPL 2026, the BCCI selection committee will have a special eye on 5 Indian fast bowlers, which include the names of Jasprit Bumrah, Mohammed Siraj, Prasidh Krishna, Arshdeep Singh and Hardik Pandya. These five bowlers are part of the ODI core team. In such a situation, the selectors will closely assess the fitness and form of these five players. Along with these leading bowlers, BCCI has prepared a special list of 20 players, who will be part of the race for the upcoming World Cup.

Under the plan of Indian Cricket Control, the selection process in the Indian Premier League 2026 is being strengthened. Each selector will go to the stadium to watch at least one match live in his/her zone, while the remaining matches will be assessed through TV coverage and data analytics.
