Sensex Top-10 Companies Market Cap: The market capitalization (market cap) of five of the top-10 most valuable companies of Sensex declined by more than Rs 1 lakh crore last week. HDFC Bank was the biggest loser. Last week, the 30-share BSE Sensex fell 30.96 points or 0.04 per cent, while the National Stock Exchange’s Nifty fell 36.6 points or 0.15 per cent.

In the week under review, the market capitalization of HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank, Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), Bajaj Finance and Hindustan Unilever declined. At the same time, the market position of Reliance Industries, Bharti Airtel, State Bank of India (SBI), Infosys and Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) increased.

HDFC Bank suffered the most loss

The market valuation of five companies in the top-10 decreased by a total of Rs 1,02,771.87 crore. HDFC Bank’s valuation declined by Rs 56,124.48 crore to Rs 12,01,267.28 crore during the week. With this, the market capitalization of Hindustan Unilever decreased by Rs 18,009.62 crore to Rs 4,89,631.32 crore. Bajaj Finance’s capitalization declined by Rs 15,338.42 crore to Rs 5,16,715.12 crore.

TCS gets a blow of Rs 7,127.63 crore

TCS’s market capitalization declined by Rs 7,127.63 crore to Rs 8,64,940 crore and ICICI Bank’s valuation declined by Rs 6,171.72 crore to Rs 8,91,673.06 crore. Contrary to this trend, the valuation of Reliance Industries increased by Rs 45,942.75 crore to Rs 19,14,235.92 crore. Bharti Airtel’s market cap rose by Rs 24,462.03 crore to Rs 10,52,893.75 crore and SBI’s valuation rose by Rs 10,707.52 crore to Rs 9,76,968.57 crore.

Market capitalization of LIC increased by Rs 2,624.88 crore to reach Rs 4,91,610.45 crore. Infosys’ market cap increased by Rs 2,473.79 crore to Rs 5,08,789.37 crore.

Reliance’s dominance at number one

In the list of top 10 companies Reliance Industries Retained the first position. It was followed by HDFC Bank, Bharti Airtel, SBI, ICICI Bank, TCS, Bajaj Finance, Infosys, LIC and Hindustan Unilever Limited respectively.

Resignation of HDFC Bank Chairman

HDFC Bank’s part-time chairman and independent director Atanu Chakraborty suddenly resigned on Wednesday. In a letter to the Chairman of the Governance Committee of the bank, he said that in the last two years, I have seen some incidents and practices within the bank, which are not in accordance with my personal values ​​and ethics.
