Ayodhya Travel Tips: After the construction of the grand temple of Ram Lala in Ayodhya, Ram Navami of the year 2026 is going to be very special. Best time to visit
On the day of Ram Navami i.e. 26th March, the queues for darshan in the temple can be several kilometers long. If you want to visit peacefully then it would be better to plan 2-3 days before Ram Navami or 2 days after the festival. The temple premises are most crowded on the main festival days from 11 am to 2 pm as the special midday aarti and Surya Tilak take place at this time.

- Arrangements for Bhandara and Prasad are made in the major monasteries and temples of Ayodhya. Apart from this, many affordable eateries are available along the Ram Path.

Crowd management and safety rules
This time the administration has laid emphasis on the system of e-pass or QR code based entry. Carrying mobile phones, smart watches, cameras and leather goods is prohibited inside the temple. In view of the huge crowd, avoid taking the elderly and small children to the temple on the main festival day. Don’t forget to wear comfortable shoes for hiking on the Ram Janmabhoomi Path.
Other tourist places in Ayodhya
Don’t limit yourself to just the main temple during your visit. You can also enjoy the aarti of Hanumangarhi, Kanak Bhawan, Nageshwarnath Temple and Saryu Bank. The laser show held at Saryu Ghat in the evening is a center of special attraction for the devotees.
