But experts have revealed whether walking actually keeps the blood sugar level under control. Proper use of insulin in the blood is due to constant walking habits. That is, the increase in blood sugar is reduced to some extent. If you have this diabetes and you walk for at least an hour a day, it shows good results. Walking 5 to 6 km daily can reduce blood sugar by an average of 30 to 60 mg/dL. But it all depends on age, weight and diet.

What exactly causes diabetes?
Diabetes is mainly caused by a specific lack of insulin in the body or a decrease in its efficiency. What insulin does is transport sugar from the blood into the cells. But, when the body can’t use insulin properly or the amount of insulin is low, blood sugar levels rise. Improper diet, consumption of high sugar and oily foods, lack of exercise, weight gain, stress and genetic factors are considered to be the main causes of diabetes. Health experts say that you should consult your doctor and decide how many hours diabetic patients should walk.
