BSEB 12th Result 2026 : Bihar Board Intermediate result 2026 has been declared on Monday, March 23, 2026. On this occasion, Bihar Education Minister Sunil Kumar congratulated Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) Chairman Anand Kishore and his team for publishing the results of Intermediate examination for the first time in the country. This year’s result percentage was 85.19%, which is slightly less than last year’s 86.05%.

19 out of 26 girl students are included in the top 5 in all the faculties, which shows the progress of the girl students this year. Aditya Prakash Aman of Samastipur has secured first position in the Faculty of Science, he got 481 marks. Nishu Kumari of Khijrasarai (Gaya district) has topped in the Faculty of Arts, she got 479 marks. At the same time, Aditi Kumari has secured the top position in commerce. Aditi is a student of St. Xavier High School, Gandhi Maidan, Patna and has got 480 marks.

Girls students in top-3 in commerce faculty

The special thing in Commerce Faculty is that all the students in the top-3 are girls. Second topper Mahi Kumari Kamla is a student of Nehru Girls High School, Yarpur, Patna, who got 476 marks. Whereas, in third place is Nishika Shree, student of Bankipur Government Girls High School, Patna, who scored 475 marks.

A total of 13,04,200 candidates appeared in the intermediate examination this year, of which 6,70,971 were girls and 6,33,229 were boys. The examinations were conducted between February 2 and February 13 at 1,762 centres. According to department-wise details, 6,14,710 candidates had appeared in the Science Faculty, out of which 5,37,609 passed the examination. In Arts stream, 6,61,610 candidates appeared and 5,47,537 passed. A total of 27,721 students appeared in the Commerce stream, out of which 25,800 passed.
