The most striking update is its lighting; it now features connected LED DRLs at the front and sleek connected taillights at the rear. New 17-inch alloy wheels give its side profile a striking and sporty look. Interestingly, the test unit was left-hand drive, suggesting this could be a significant global update.

On the mechanical front, Volkswagen has retained its most successful and reliable setup. The Tigun facelift will feature the same powerful 1.0-liter TSI petrol engine producing 115 hp, while performance enthusiasts will also be treated to a 1.5-liter TSI engine producing a robust 150 hp.

Volkswagen has not yet officially announced a firm launch date, but automobile experts believe the Tiguan facelift could arrive on Indian roads within the next three months, around June or July 2026. Pricing is expected to see a significant increase of ₹30,000 to ₹50,000 due to the new updates and rich features.
