Lakhs of candidates who participated in the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) 2026 are eagerly awaiting the release of the CTET Result 2026—an anticipation that may soon come to an end. According to media reports, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is set to release the results of this examination within this very week.
Results to be Released Online
The CBSE CTET February 2026 results will be released exclusively through the online medium on the official CBSE website, ctet.nic.in. Information regarding the results will not be available offline or through any other means.
Download Your Scorecard in These Steps as Soon as Results Are Released
Once CBSE officially announces the results, candidates will be able to check their outcomes and download their scorecards by following just four simple steps. The steps are as follows:
To check the CTET Result 2026, you must visit the official website: ctet.nic.in.
On the website's homepage, under the 'Latest News' section, click on the link for the Result/Scorecard.
Next, enter your Roll Number and click on the 'Login' button.
Your scorecard will now appear on the screen, from where you can view it as well as download it.
Minimum Percentage Required to Pass
For the information of all candidates, it is mandatory to secure the prescribed passing percentage—determined according to specific categories—in the CTET examination; only then will you be considered qualified to participate in teacher recruitment processes. To pass, candidates must secure the following cutoff marks based on their category: 60% for the General (UR) category, and 55% for the OBC, SC, ST, and PwD categories. Candidates who pass Paper 1 become eligible to teach classes 1 through 5, while those who qualify in the Paper 2 examination become eligible to teach classes 6 through 8. Please note that the CTET scorecard is now valid for a lifetime; this means that candidates who pass the examination once will not be required to pass it again.
When Was the Exam Held?
The Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) 2026 was conducted on February 7 and 8, while a re-examination was held on March 1 at two centers in Bihar.
