RO water purifier service; Regular service to the RO is essential; Otherwise, it may cause disease. Today, we will explain what problems in your water purifier indicate which parts are bad. The purpose of providing this information is to help you better understand your RO.

Water purifiers have become a necessity in every home today, but after installing RO, we often forget that servicing the RO is also necessary. Some people get their kitchen water purifiers serviced regularly, while others get careless, and this small mistake can lead to ailments in your RO. Today, we will tell you some important things so that you understand what each signal means then what action you should take immediately if RO is giving you any warning signal.

Changed the taste of water? So this is the problem

If you are filling a glass of water from your RO and the water has a foul odor or a strange smell, making it taste bitter or smelly, the filter is damaged. The function of a filter is to remove impurities from water, making it drinkable. If the water tastes different or smells strange, call an RO repairer immediately and change the filter.

The speed of the water has become less, so understand that this is the problem

If the RO water speed has decreased, it is likely that impurities in the water have accumulated in the membrane, causing the pressure to drop. If the problem persists after servicing, it means that the RO Membrane needs to be replaced. Generally, the membrane needs to be replaced every 1.5 to 2 years.

An increase in the TDS level indicates the malfunction of this part

The TDS (Total Dissolved Solids) level of RO water should be between 50 and 150. This can be checked with a TDS meter. If the filter has been replaced but the TDS level is still high then the problem may be to the membrane.

If the waste water is coming down, that is the problem

If the water purifier is producing low wastewater output, it could be a blockage in the membrane or a fault in the flow restrictor (which controls the flow of water), or a blockage in the drain pipe.
