Tehran/Washington. Amidst the ongoing tension in the Middle East, Iran has rejected America’s peace proposal and made it clear that the war will end only according to its stipulated terms and time.

Iran described the US proposal as “deceptive” and “escalating tensions”, according to Iranian state media. According to a senior official, America is trying to negotiate through different diplomatic channels, but its proposals do not match the ground reality.

Iran has put forward five major conditions for ending the war. These include an immediate cessation of all attacks and targeted killings, concrete guarantees that there will be no future attacks, compensation for war damages, an end to conflict on all fronts throughout the region, and international recognition of our authority over the Strait of Hormuz.

Tehran has made it clear that no negotiations are possible before these conditions are met and it will continue its military actions.

On the other hand, according to reports, the US proposal includes demands like strict control over Iran’s nuclear program, stopping uranium enrichment, limiting the missile program and maintaining distance from regional groups. In return, sanctions relief and civilian nuclear cooperation have been offered.
