Mega Power Star Ram Charan will resume the shooting of Peddi despite suffering an  recently. The makers released a statement on March 25, assuring the well-being of Charan, and that he was doing fine after a "minor incident" on the set for which he had to undergo a "small procedure." Earlier in the day, reports came in that Ram had sustained an injury near his eye while filming his upcoming sports drama Peddi.
The RRR star, however, continued work without interruption. Team Peddi posted his health update on social media with the caption, "An update regarding @AlwaysRamCharan Garu's injury on the sets of #Peddi. We promise everything is safe and on track. We want to assure everyone that Ram Charan Garu is absolutely fine and doing well. He had a minor injury to the left eye on the sets, and there was a small procedure done. He will be resuming the shoot tomorrow with no disruptions to the schedule. We appreciate the concern, but there is no cause for worry. Everything is under control, and the film continues to move forward smoothly."

The video shows Ram deeply focused on recording his dialogues, showing his dedication towards capturing the intensity of his character. Peddi's plot and cast Peddi is a Telugu sports action drama directed by Buchi Babu Sana. It also stars Janhvi Kapoor and Shivarajkumar. Set in the 1980s in Andhra Pradesh, the film follows a villager who unites his community through sports to fight for their pride against a powerful rival.
Peddi's music Peddi's first single, Chikiri Chikiri, emerged as a success, encouraging the makers to unveil the second track, Rai Rai Raa Raa, featuring Ram Charan in a high-energy dance avatar.
