In Gujarat, the government of Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel has made a major reshuffle in the bureaucracy (Gujarat IAS Transfer). Three IAS officers have been given new assignments. Collectors of three districts including Gandhinagar have also been changed. After the approval of the Governor, the General Administration Department has issued orders to transfer and appointment on March 25.
BEST 2014 IAS officer GH Solanki has been transferred and posted as Collector of Surendranagar. Earlier, he was working on the post of Municipal Commissioner, Nadiad Corporation. With this, IAS officer KS Yagnik has been relieved of additional charge.
Who is the new collector of Gandhinagar and Jamnagar?
The responsibility of the post of Collector of Gandhinagar has been handed over to Ravindra Dnyaneshwar Khatale. Before this, he was working as Municipal Commissioner, Mehsana Municipal Corporation. Along with this, Baghel IAS officer G. N Vaghela has been relieved of additional charges. Batch 2013 IAS officer PB Pandya has been appointed to the post of Jamnagar Collector. He will take over the new charge from March 31, 2023. Earlier he was working on the post of District Development Officer, Amreli. He will succeed KP Thakur.

Many IAS officers transferred in the state in 2026
Gujarat government has transferred Indian Administrative Service officers for the first time in March 2026. Before this, the last time IAS officers were transferred was on 26 February. Three officers were given new responsibilities. Harit Shukla, Sandeep Janardanpant and IR Vala were included in this list. In January, 7 IAS officers were given new assignments.
