In a world dominated by headlines of rising tensions between the United States, Israel, and Iran, veteran actor Boman Irani has taken a refreshing detour—choosing humour over politics.

The 66-year-old shared a short video online that is quickly going viral, not for diplomatic insight, but for its witty and absurd take on global affairs. In the video, Irani playfully referred to recent claims that Donald Trump is pursuing “peace talks” with Iran. He quipped that he, along with fellow actors Smriti Irani and Aruna Irani, had been “summoned” to the negotiation table.

“So, as you may know, it’s going viral that Mr. Donald Trump wants to speak to the Iranis—talks are happening with Smriti ji, Aruna Irani ji, and me, Boman Irani. I am ready. I am ready to do anything for peace,” he joked.

But Boman set one playful condition: “I won’t go to Washington. I think it would be best if Trump sahab and his delegation come to Dadar Parsi Colony. We’ll serve them dhansak, custard, and other traditional dishes.”

He added a humorous punchline, “But if they bring along a big gas cylinder, I think it’ll make life very smooth for all of us.” The video ended with a sly smile and thumbs-up, letting the joke settle in perfectly.

Industry friends were quick to respond. Actress Sameera Reddy called it “Epicccc,” while Farhan Akhtar and musician Ricky Kej reacted with laughter.

On the professional front, Boman Irani debuted as a director in 2025 with The Mehta Boys, starring himself, Avinash Tiwary, and Shreya Chaudhry. He has also appeared in Detective Sherdil, Tanvi the Great, and started this year with The Raja Saab alongside Prabhas. Upcoming projects include Raja Shivaji with Riteish Deshmukh and Khosla Ka Ghosla 2.
