  • Capsicum – 4-5 (medium size)
  • Boiled potatoes – 3-4
  • Onion – 1 finely chopped
  • Tomato – 1 finely chopped
  • Green chilli – 1-2
  • Ginger-garlic paste – 1 tsp
  • Turmeric powder – 1/2 tsp
  • Coriander powder – 1 tsp
  • Garam masala – 1/2 tsp
  • salt to taste
  • Oil – 2-3 tbsp
  • Coriander – to garnish

How to make Stuffed Capsicum

If you want to make your lunch or dinner tasty, then stuffed capsicum vegetable will be perfect. To prepare this, first wash the capsicum, cut off the top and remove the seeds inside. Keep in mind that the chilli should remain whole so that the stuffing can be easily filled in it.

Heat oil in a pan. Add onion to it and fry until it becomes light golden. Now add ginger-garlic paste, green chillies and tomatoes and cook. After this add turmeric, coriander powder and salt. When the masala is cooked well, add mashed potatoes to it and mix well. Finally prepare the stuffing by adding garam masala and green coriander.

Now fill the prepared spices well inside the capsicum and place the cut part on top like a lid. Heat some oil in a pan and carefully place the stuffed capsicum in it. Cover and cook on low flame for 10-15 minutes. Keep turning occasionally so that the chilli gets cooked well from all sides.

When the capsicum becomes soft and starts appearing light brown, turn off the gas. Your delicious stuffed capsicum is ready. If you want, you can also add paneer or gram flour to the stuffing. Cooking on low flame gives better taste.
