Today is Ram Navami and the birth anniversary of Shri Ram is being celebrated with pomp across the country. Ram Janmabhoomi Ayodhya is also seen immersed in joy to celebrate the third birth anniversary of Shri Ram. Ram devotees from different parts of the country have reached Ayodhya to witness this festival with their own eyes. Everyone is seen immersed in devotion.

The Ram Janmabhoomi complex including the Ram temple looks very beautiful. As soon as Ramlala is born in Raghukul today at 12 noon, there will be joy here. All preparations are being made for the birthday celebration.

Ramlala’s Surya Tilak

Today, on the occasion of his birth anniversary, at 12 o’clock, sunlight will anoint the forehead of Ramlala for 4 to 5 minutes. The Surya Tilak has been tested and all the devotees are eager to see this moment. In view of the crowd, the duration of darshan has also been extended.

Arrangements for devotees

Chaitra Shukla Navami is on 27th March and a grand birth anniversary is going to be organized in Ram temple. For this, excellent arrangements were made by the committee. Extensive arrangements have been made to ensure that the visiting devotees do not face any kind of problem. The Dham has been beautifully decorated and every kind of arrangement has been made for the devotees attending the festival.

Here, carpet has been laid on the premises and the Darshan Marg to protect from sunlight and heat. Matting has also been done on Rampath, Bhaktipath and Dharampath. There are adequate arrangements for toilets, medical facilities and drinking water. Barricading has been done at the ghats of Kanak Bhawan, Ram Ki Pauri, Hanumangarh and Saryu.

When will we have darshan?

Devotees can enter the temple from 5 am and the process of darshan has started from 5:20. The temple will remain open till 11 pm. In view of the crowd of devotees, Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust has increased the darshan period by about 3 hours including morning and evening.

Celebration from 9 am

The process of birth anniversary in Ram temple is going to start from 9 am. First of all, Panchamrit Mahaabhishek of Ramlala will be done which will continue till 11 o’clock. Mangal and Shringaar Aarti will be performed at fixed time in the morning. After this grand makeup will be done. There will be cover in the sanctum sanctorum from 10.30 am to 12 noon. After this, you will be able to see the makeup while doing darshan. Then there will be worship and aarti and tilak will be applied on the forehead of Ramlala. All these events will be broadcast live on TV.
