Ravichandran Ashwin

Then in December 2024, Ashwin announced his retirement from international cricket.

Suryakumar Yadav

Captain Suryakumar Yadav, who made India win the T20 World Cup, was also a part of the last World Cup and was included in the playing-11 in the final as well. But this World Cup was not good for him also. Except for a powerful inning of 49 runs against England, in the six matches in which he got a chance, he could not even cross 25 runs even once. He was on leave since the World Cup final and is not going to return now.

Mohammed Shami

Mohammed Shami was India's most successful bowler in the World Cup 2023. He got a chance in the playing-11 only due to the injury of Hardik Pandya and then after playing only 7 matches, he took the maximum of 24 wickets.
