Arsenal have learned when their potential UEFA Champions League semi-final match will be. The Gunners are due to face Sporting CP in the quarter-finals after the international break.
They will travel to Lisbon on the Monday of the week commencing April 6, before facing the Portuguese champions the next day on Tuesday, April 7. The return leg will be played at the Emirates Stadium the week after, on Wednesday, April 15.
Should Mikel Arteta’s side progress to the last four of the competition for the second successive season, they will again play the away leg first. This is thanks to their placement at the top of the league phase, having won eight games from eight.

Their potential opponents are either Barcelona or Atletico Madrid after the Spanish clubs eliminated Newcastle United and Tottenham Hotspur, respectively, in the quarter-finals. Neither La Liga side won in England, but their results at home saw them through.
The first leg of Arsenal's potential semi-final, which would be played in Spain, is scheduled to take place on Wednesday, April 29. This means the home leg would be scheduled for Tuesday, May 5 the following week.
The game on the weekend between these two potential fixtures is due to be played at home against Fulham. However, at the time of publication, the Premier League has yet to announce the official date and time, despite the fixture's estimated release on March 25, two days ago.
However, with the first leg on Wednesday and the second leg on the following Tuesday, it is relatively safe to estimate the match with Fulham will remain on Saturday, May 2. The kick-off time, however, is not yet determined.
