New Delhi. Indian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal has said that our four LPG cargo ships have crossed the Strait of Hormuz and reached India safely. We are talking to many countries in the Gulf region so that the rest of our ships can also cross the Strait of Hormuz and come to India safely. On the question of journalists that from where our country is taking oil and from which countries the supply is being made, Jaiswal said that I have no information about this. This special information will be available from the Petroleum Ministry.
External Affairs Ministry spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal said that our Foreign Minister S. Jaishankar is in Paris for the meeting of G7 foreign ministers. He has already met foreign ministers and their counterparts from several countries, including France, Germany, South Korea, Japan and Brazil. Their meetings continue even today. He spoke in two sessions. One session was on global governance, in which he addressed the imperative for Security Council reforms, streamlining peacekeeping operations and strengthening humanitarian aid supply chains. He also informed about the concerns of these countries regarding food, fuel and fertilizers.
Responding to a question about a possible meeting between Jaishankar and US Secretary of State Marco Rubio, External Affairs Ministry spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal said, I am not aware of this particular meeting whether it has taken place or is going to take place soon, but I think it is still afternoon in Paris, so some such meetings can still happen. On the death of an Indian citizen due to falling debris in Abu Dhabi, Jaiswal said, our mission is working to bring back the body as soon as possible.
