Meta has announced several new features in WhatsApp for iPhone users. Now iOS users will be able to use two different WhatsApp accounts on the same smartphone, which was earlier available only to Android users. With this update, the need to have separate phones for personal and business conversations will go away.

‘Two accounts, one phone’ feature

With the new update, iPhone users can operate two accounts simultaneously on WhatsApp. Through the Profile tab at the bottom of the app, users will be able to easily see which account is currently active. This feature will be especially beneficial for those who use different numbers for personal and work life.

Integration of Meta AI tools

WhatsApp has incorporated Meta’s AI tools directly into its chats. Through this, users can edit a photo before sending it, change the background, remove unwanted objects and apply different styles. The company has also clarified that chats will remain completely private and security will not be compromised.

Chat transfer and new sticker suggestions

It’s now even easier to transfer chat history from iOS to Android, including photos and videos. Additionally, WhatsApp has also added the predictive sticker feature, which will provide automatic sticker suggestions in place of emoji while typing.
