However, I have been fortunate to receive a warm welcome since my debut, and I am thankful for that."

Kriti began her career as a model before transitioning to films, making her Bollywood debut in Heropanti alongside Tiger Shroff in 2014. As she prepares for her upcoming film, Cocktail 2, she addresses the ongoing debate surrounding nepotism and its effects on the Hindi film industry.

Kriti acknowledged the existence of nepotism in all sectors, noting that it is simply more visible in the film industry. She remarked, "It may take time to secure the opportunities you desire, but hard work and persistence will eventually pay off. Continuous improvement in your craft is essential." When asked if she had ever lost a role to a star kid, she replied, "Many times. Even if not to a star kid, there are always others. Today, numerous successful actors do not hail from film families, proving that talent ultimately prevails. The conversation around nepotism is one we are somewhat fatigued by, as it exists in every industry."

Kriti acknowledged that while having a famous parent can facilitate early opportunities, true success hinges on one's talent. She stated, "If I were to have a child who wanted to act, they would have easier access due to my connections. However, sustaining a career relies on their ability to resonate with the audience. Ultimately, it is the audience that determines who remains in the industry and who does not."
