JioStar, the official broadcast and digital partner for IPL 2026, has announced an expansive and star-powered commentary lineup, revealed on Friday (March 27), ahead of the season opener on Saturday.
As anticipation builds for two months of high-octane cricket, fans will be able to follow every match and track every moment across platforms. For the first time, viewers can also tune into a special digital feed on JioHotstar, offering live match insights alongside IPL champions.
The broadcast also includes inclusive features such as Indian Sign Language and an audio descriptive feed.
JioHotstar brings back its MaxView feature in Hindi and English, alongside a multi-cam experience that allows fans to switch between five viewing angles — Hero Cam, Stump Cam, Batter Cam, Field View and a multi-view option.
The lineup is further strengthened by seasoned voices such as Ravi Shastri, Sunil Gavaskar, Michael Clarke, Eoin Morgan, Aaron Finch, Dale Steyn and Kevin Pietersen.

With over 150 presenters and experts, JioStar will deliver more than 20 feeds across JioHotstar and the Star Sports Network. Big names headline commentary panel
Former India off-spinner Ravichandran Ashwin will make his JioStar commentary debut this season, joining an elite panel that includes Virender Sehwag, AB de Villiers, Irfan Pathan, Suresh Raina, Harbhajan Singh, Faf du Plessis and Anil Kumble.The lineup is further strengthened by seasoned voices such as Ravi Shastri, Sunil Gavaskar, Michael Clarke, Eoin Morgan, Aaron Finch, Dale Steyn and Kevin Pietersen.
New Hindi watch-along experience
A fresh Hindi digital watch-along feed will feature Ashwin, Raina, Harbhajan, Sehwag, Irfan Pathan, Umesh Yadav, Cheteshwar Pujara and Aakash Chopra. The segment promises dressing-room anecdotes, untold stories and tactical insights during live matches.Regional flavour and returning voices
