RPSC SI Exam 2026: The Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) is implementing robust and multi-layered security measures to ensure that the Sub-Inspector Recruitment Examination-2025—scheduled for the upcoming 5th and 6th of April—is conducted in a fair, transparent, and credible manner, and to uphold the integrity of the examination system. Approximately 7.70 lakh candidates from across the state are expected to appear for this examination at 1,174 examination centers established across 41 selected cities.

Intensive Security for Question Papers; Special Vigilance on Suspects
The Commission Secretary stated that, given the sensitive nature of the examination, top priority has been accorded to the confidentiality, secure storage, and timely distribution of the question papers. A special surveillance mechanism has been developed—in coordination with the district administration and the police—to curb any form of unethical activity, prevent the entry of dummy candidates, and keep a strict check on suspicious elements.

To ensure the authenticity of the candidates, technical security measures—such as modern admit cards embedded with QR codes, the mandatory production of original color photo identity cards, and intensive video recording at every center—have been made compulsory for this Sub-Inspector recruitment examination.

To completely prevent any untoward attempts by criminal elements during the examination, instructions have been issued to further intensify security arrangements—specifically regarding the examination centers, the safety of question papers, and the monitoring of suspicious individuals and surrounding activities.

All Cyber Cafes and E-Mitra Centers Within a 100-Meter Radius to Remain Closed
To maintain absolute discipline within the precincts of the examination centers, all cyber cafes and E-Mitra centers located within a 100-meter radius of the examination centers will remain closed throughout the duration of the examination. The entry of any kind of electronic devices into the examination premises will be strictly prohibited.

Special flying squads and supervisory officers—constituted under the leadership of senior officials of the Commission—will continuously inspect the centers to ensure that there is no laxity at any stage of the examination process.

Intensive Surveillance on Suspicious Candidates
The Commission has urged all District Collectors and Superintendents of Police—including the Additional Director General of the SOG (Special Operations Group)—to maintain intensive surveillance on the day of the recruitment examinations over candidates who have been debarred from such exams, as well as other suspicious individuals. This measure aims to ensure that none of these individuals can attempt, either directly or indirectly, to compromise the integrity of the recruitment process.

As a precautionary measure, records about such individuals and candidates have been entered into the village-wise crime registers maintained at their respective local police stations; furthermore, instructions have been issued to maintain strict vigilance over their activities throughout the duration of the recruitment examinations.

Immediate Action Against Negligence
In view of the examinations and the prevailing circumstances, the concerned district administrations, police forces, and all personnel deployed for the conduct of the exams have been directed to discharge their duties with utmost alertness and caution. Administrative and police officials assigned to facilitate the smooth conduct of the examinations must ensure strict compliance with all guidelines at every level.

These officials are required to exercise complete vigilance in matters concerning the secure custody of question papers, strict adherence to regulations, the transportation of question papers to examination centers, and the monitoring of arrangements within the centers. Under the Rajasthan Public Examination Act, 2022, provisions exist for initiating criminal proceedings even against personnel involved in organizing the examinations in cases involving cheating, the illegal possession or disclosure of question papers, and similar offenses.

Personnel involved in organizing the examinations are deemed to be on deputation under the Rajasthan Public Service Commission for the duration of the examination period. Consequently, should any instance of negligence or dereliction of duty by personnel come to light at any level, appropriate disciplinary action will be initiated.

Reporting on Center Arrangements
Vigilance teams are further tasked with ensuring that the Centre Superintendents, invigilators, and other personnel deployed at the examination centers within their assigned areas strictly adhere to all guidelines regarding the conduct of examinations, as well as all prescribed security protocols.

To reinforce the fairness, confidentiality, and security of the examinations, personnel involved in the organization of the exams are strictly prohibited from entering the examination centers while in possession of mobile phones or any other electronic gadgets. Furthermore, personnel involved in conducting the examinations are required to thoroughly verify and confirm the identity of every candidate appearing for the examination. Special care will be taken to ensure that no candidate possesses any prohibited material—such as a mobile phone, Bluetooth device, or any other communication equipment. If any prohibited material is found, immediate action will be taken in accordance with the rules. Should any irregularity be observed at any stage, it will be clearly documented by the vigilance teams in their reports.
