Indian Premier League 2026 (IPL 2026) has started. This time it is the 19th season of IPL and its first match is being played on 28 March at M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. The match is between Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) and Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH). In this match, some players have also got a chance to debut in IPL, which has made the match more interesting.

These players will make IPL debut
In the first match of IPL 2026, the playing XI of both the teams includes players who are making their IPL debut. The first name in this list is that of Jacob Duffy, after which the name of Abhinandan Singh appeared. Both these players are making their debut in RCB jersey. At the same time, Salil Arora has got a chance to debut in SRH jersey.
In the IPL 2026 auction, RCB bought Jacob Duffy for his base price of Rs 2 crore. Whereas RCB had bought Abhinandan Singh for Rs 30 lakh in the IPL 2025 mega auction but he did not get a chance to play a single match in that season. Now RCB has given Abhinandan a chance to debut this season. It is worth noting that both Duffy and Abhinandan are bowlers. On the other hand, the base price of Salil Arora in the IPL 2026 auction was Rs 30 lakh but SRH bought him for Rs 1.50 crore and included him in their team.
