Police have arrested the accused husband Jatin Patel and his interrogation is ongoing.
According to the police, the victim works in a car showroom and had a love marriage with Jatin Patel, a resident of Nikol, some time ago. However, after marriage, disputes between the two started increasing, due to which the woman started living at her mother's house. The woman was returning home from job on the night of the incident. Meanwhile, near a society, a person riding a motorcycle and wearing a helmet threw acid on him. The woman was wearing a scarf, which saved her from serious burns, but her lips and eyes were affected. After the incident, a crowd of people gathered at the spot, taking advantage of which the accused escaped.

Ahmedabad Acid Attack: According to Inspector Deepak Dhola of Ahmedabad Crime Branch, during interrogation it was revealed that there was a dispute going on between the husband and wife for a long time and both were living separately for about six months. Jatin was hurt by the woman questioning her husband's masculinity. For this reason, with a feeling of revenge, he planned an acid attack on his wife and carried out the crime. Accused Jatin works as a driver in Cargo Service. At present the police is interrogating the accused and further action is going on in the case.
