New Delhi: The sequel of Rajinikanth’s film ‘Jailor’ i.e. ‘Jailor 2’ is in the news even before its release. Now a big update has come out regarding this upcoming film. If media reports are to be believed, Rajinikanth is going to face Bollywood superstar Shahrukh Khan in ‘Jailor 2’. Both the legends can be seen together in a high-octane action scene, although its official confirmation is yet to be done.

In the film, Rajinikanth will return as his iconic character Muthuvel Pandian i.e. ‘Tiger Muthuvel Pandian’, while Shahrukh Khan has been approached for an extended cameo. It is being said that this scene will be filmed on a large scale in a factory in Chandigarh. This news has created a wave of excitement among the fans, because this will be the first time that Rajinikanth and Shahrukh Khan will be seen in the same frame.

The star cast of the film has been made even more grand. Big personalities like Mohanlal, Mithun Chakraborty, Shiva Rajkumar and Ramya Krishnan are also going to play important roles in the film. Apart from this, SJ Surya, Yogi Babu and Mirna will also be seen in the film, while Vijay Sethupathi can do a special cameo.

The producer of ‘Jailor 2’ is Kalanithi Maran and it is being made under the banner of Sun Pictures. As before, the technical team includes Anirudh Ravichander for music, Vijay Karthik Kannan as cinematographer and R Nirmal as editor. The film team completed a major shooting schedule in Kochi earlier this year, in which several major action sequences were shot. Rajinikanth’s presence on the sets created a stir on social media and the pictures quickly went viral.

Shahrukh Khan’s cameo and presence of other veteran actors including Mohanlal to increase the pan-India appeal of the film is being considered an important step towards making ‘Jailor 2’ one of the biggest blockbusters of the year.
