Emmerdale viewers are worried that Kim Tate is on the brink of being written out of the show, and they believe they 'know' who is responsible.

Kim (Claire King) has been a mainstay on the enduring soap since 1989 - and as the village's femme fatale queen, she has featured in numerous significant plots.

From her multiple dalliances in the Dales to staging her own demise, her stint on the programme has been anything but devoid of drama over the years.

Currently in the village, the Tates are embroiled in a fierce dispute with the Dingles, originating from when Kim, assisted by Joe Tate (Ned Porteous), managed to strike a deal with Moira Dingle (Natalie J Robb) regarding Butler's Farm.

However, in Sunday's episode (March 29), Joe callously ordered his workers to raze everything at Butlers Farm field - including a memorial for Moira's late daughter Holly Barton (Sophie Powles), reports the Daily Star.

As anticipated, the Dingles were livid and confronted Kim, suspecting it was her doing. And while Joe didn't admit it was him, Kim's ex-lover and father figure to Joe, Graham (Andrew Scarborough), instantly knew it was him.

Graham later reassured the Dingles and promised them he would rectify the situation by restoring Holly's memorial. However, the Dingles were not appeased.

But when the family discovered that Kim is leaving Lydia Dingle (Karen Blick) her estate when she passes away, both Caleb (William Ash) and Chas (Lucy Pargeter) insinuated that they wanted to permanently remove Kim, meaning Lydia would inherit the long-standing Home Farm.

Moreover, spoilers for the upcoming week have disclosed that while at a dinner with the Dingles, in an attempt to mend fences, Kim begins to choke before abruptly collapsing, having been poisoned.

And now viewers are more than convinced that Kim could be getting written out as they have 'deduced' who murders her. On an Emmerdale Facebook fan page, one individual pondered: "Do you think they will kill Kim off?"

A second joined in: "I think Graham will be behind it I still don't trust him." A third wrote: "You're onto something there." Another also noted: "Yes think it will be Graham."

Emmerdale airs Monday to Friday at 8:00pm on ITV1 and ITVX
