The India Meteorological Department (IMD), Hyderabad, has issued a yellow warning and has predicted intense thundershowers, lightning, and gusty winds, till Thursday across multiple districts. The temperatures across the districts of Telangana are expected to range between 36 degree Celsius and 40 degree Celsius.

On the other hand, the Amravati MeT Centre has said that the trough is causing weather change in the state and has predicted light to moderate rains are likely in several districts of Andhra Pradesh. The weather office has warned of thunderstorms in Alluri Sitarama Raju, Srikakulam, Kurnool, and Nandyal districts of Andhra Pradesh.

Hyderabad weather today

On Tuesday, March 31, the IMD has warned of partly cloudy sky with possibility of rain or Thunderstorm or duststorm in Hyderabad. Similar weather conditions are expected on April 1.

The IMD, Hyderabad, has issued a warning for intense spells of thundershowers, including gusty winds ranging from 30 to 50 kmph, lightning and thundershowers, for Mahabubnagar, NagarKurnool, Wanaparthy, Narayanpet, JogulambaGadwal, Nalgonda, Suryapet, Rangareddy, Hyderabad, Medchal-Malkajgiri, Vikarabad and SangaReddy districts.

For April 4 and 5, the IMD Hyderabad has issued a general weather alert of thunderstorms, lightning and gusty winds, but has not specifically mentioned districts where the intensity is expected to be severe.

Telangana has been experiencing unseasonal rainfall since Monday night, particularly across its northern districts. Regions including Adilabad, Asifabad, Nirmal, Karimnagar, Nizamabad, and Medak recorded rainfall accompanied by thunder and lightning.

Meanwhile, Rajanna Sircilla district witnessed strong gusty winds, while a sudden drop in temperatures was observed in Medak, Sangareddy, and Vikarabad.

Amravati weather today

In Amravati, the weather on March 31 is expected to remain partly cloudy, with the maximum temperature reaching around 41°C and the minimum settling near 23°C. No weather warnings have been issued for the day.

On April 1, similar conditions will continue, with partly cloudy skies and temperatures again peaking at around 41°C, while the minimum may be close to 24°C. No warnings are in place.

A change is expected on April 2, when the city may experience rain or thundershowers accompanied by strong gusty winds. The maximum temperature is likely to dip slightly to around 40°C, with a minimum of about 24°C. A thunderstorm alert has been issued, with lightning and gusty winds of 40–50 km/h expected.

From April 3 onwards, the weather is likely to stabilise, with partly cloudy skies returning. The maximum temperature may be around 39°C on April 3 and gradually decrease to about 37°C by April 4 and April 5, while minimum temperatures may range between 20°C and 21°C.
