What are the Eligibility Criteria for Professor and Assistant Professor Posts?
Professor: A Ph.D. degree in the relevant subject, along with a minimum of 10 years of teaching/research experience. Candidates must have published at least 7 research papers or achieved a total research score of 75 as per UGC journal norms.

Associate Professor: A Ph.D. degree accompanied by a strong academic record. A Master's degree with a minimum of 55% marks is also required, along with 8 years of teaching/research experience. Additionally, candidates must have 7 research publications and a research score of 75.

Assistant Professor: Candidates must hold a Master's degree with a minimum of 55% marks. Furthermore, they must have qualified for the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC. Equivalent examinations such as CSIR/SLET/SET will also be considered valid.

Assistant Professor (Computer Engineering & Robotics): Candidates must have completed a B.E./B.Tech./B.S. and an M.E./M.Tech./M.S. degree, or an Integrated M.Tech. degree, in the relevant branch. Candidates specializing in Security & Cryptography, Quantum Computing, and Data Mining are also eligible to apply. Assistant Professor (Economics, Library and Information Science, Punjabi, Dogri, Sanskrit, Visual Arts): A Master's degree along with NET/SLET/SET or a Ph.D. degree in the relevant subject.

Government Professor Salaries:
Professor: ₹1,44,200 – ₹2,18,200
Associate Professor: ₹1,31,400 – ₹2,18,700
Assistant Professor: ₹57,700 – ₹1,82,400
